Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil took to social media over the weekend to wish Man City’s Ilkay Gundogan a happy birthday.
Some Gunners fans will feel nervous whenever they see their star man pictured alongside players from another team due to his contract situation.
Ozil has under nine months left on his contract with the Gunners and could end up leaving the club for free next summer.
The Arsenal playmaker is however good friends with Gundogan off the field and both are teammates for the Germany national team.
Ozil shared a photo of himself beside Gundogan and included the following caption, “Happy birthday bro. Wish you a lot of happiness & health. Enjoy your day!”
