Tottenham Striker Will Miss 15th Game Due To Toe Injury For Fenerbahce As Title Race Hots Up

Fenerbahce welcome Akhisar to the Sukru Saracoglu stadium on Sunday hoping to keep pace with league leaders Galatasaray.

The Yellow Canaries head into the clash six points behind the Lions but could cut their lead to just three points with a win.

Fenerbahce are favorites at home but they have had two huge battles with reigning champions Besiktas over the past week.

Tottenham loanee Vincent Janssen’s injury means the Yellow Canaries will be without their former first-choice striker yet again.

Janssen has been out since December with a toe injury.

The Netherlands international is not expected back for the foreseeable future after complications with his toe nerve endings forced team doctors to rule out surgery.

The 23-year-old may not return to action this season, which could hurt Tottenham’s chances of selling him this summer – if they attempt to do so.

Fernandao is back after serving his suspension for a controversial goal celebration in the 3-1 defeat to Besiktas.

The Brazilian has five goals in his last five games against Akhisar and Roberto Soldado is also fit after returning in the last game against Besiktas which ended in a 2-2 draw.

The Canaries will be without Volkan Demirel and Alper Potuk who are suspended.
