Galatasaray meet with Arsenal officials ahead of game over Podolski transfer
[divider]Galatasaray officials have met with Arsenal’s representatives ahead of the UEFA Champions League clash at the Turk Telekom Arena.
According to a reports in the Turkish press, Galatasaray enquired about the availability of Lukas Podolski in January.
The North London club have placed a €7 million valuation on the German international which may prove to be a stretch too far for Galatasaray.
The German international is reported to be unhappy at Arsenal due to a lack of playing time.
“I don’t say that I want to leave or that I leave in winter. I just think about my situation and my situation is unhappy,” Podolski was quoted as saying in the Guardian.
“It is like anyone who is not getting a chance at doing their job.”
Podolski has played just 88 minutes of Premier League football this season for the Gunners.
