Mainz 05 held Werder Bremen to a 1-1 draw at the Weserstadion to keep their hopes of Champions League football alive.

The away side opened the scoring when Tottenham target Yunus Malli setup Baumgartlinger on 36 minutes to take the lead however, Pizarro equalised for Werder just before half-time.

Malli pulled the strings in the final third for Mainz posing the Werder defence problems throughout the game with his passing and dribbling ability – completing most dribbles in the game (3).

The Turkish international now has 10 goals and four assists in all competitions this season for Mainz.

Spurs recently sent scouts to keep tabs on Malli again according to Talksport.

Tottenahm have been keeping close tabs on Malli and have sent scouts to watch the Turkish international regularly this season.

German newspaper Kicker reported yesterday that the north London based outfit are planning a summer move for the 23-year-old.

Malli would become the first Turkish international player to sign for the north London based club if he were to make the move this summer.
