Emre Can has been ruled out of today’s clash between Swansea and Liverpool due to an ankle injury.
The 22-year-old sustained the injury during Liverpool’s 4-3 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League last month.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has decided to field a weakened squad in order to rest his star names ahead of the Red’s clash with Villarreal in the Europa League on Thursday. Klopp’s will need to win by two goals at Anfield next week if they are to qualify to the to the Europa League final.
