Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has made it abundantly clear that he will not be leaving Anfield over the summer transfer window following his latest twitter outburst.
Lucas got very touchy when Liverpool Echo reporter James Pearce revealed that the Brazilian is ‘now’ expected to stay at the club.

Lucas did not take kindly to his name even being mentioned in the same sentence as a transfer rumour.
To be fair to James he did not actually say anything wrong and we are puzzled as to why Lucas decided to respond to the tweet considering he has been linked to just about every club in Europe this summer.

Lucas has well and truly stated that any move to Galatasaray or Besiktas is now off the cards.
Galatasaray were closely linked with Lucas but failed at the last hurdle to sign the experienced midfielder.
Lions sporting director Levent Nazifoglu confirmed that the Istanbul giants are out of the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva.
Nazifoglu was quoted by Turkish-football as saying: “Lucas is no longer on our agenda, Klopp did not want him to leave, we are seeking alternatives.”
Turkish football agent Metin Korkmaz claimed that Lucas wanted the move but Klopp reportedly blocked the deal following a series of injuries to his defensive players.
The Lions used Metin Korkmaz as one of their intermediaries to help push broke through a deal after talks reached an advanced stage.
“Klopp was behind the transfer hitting the rocks, he wants Lucas to stay and the player had to listen,” Kormaz said.
“If it was up to Lucas he would have made the transfer.”
