Fenerbahce have stepped up efforts to sign Liverpool striker Divock Origi according to AMK.
Per the source, Fenerbahce sporting director Damien Comolli has traveled to England for talks with the Reds over the forward.
The Yellow Canaries want Origi on loan and are prepared to offer a £1.8m loan fee.
The report claims that Liverpool plan to extend his contract which runs out in 12 months.
The Reds would be able to loan him without losing the Belgium striker on a free transfer next summer.
Liverpool initially wanted to sell Origi on a permanent deal but are now warming to the idea of a temporary move.
Fenerbahce and Liverpool are reported to be on the verge of an agreement.
The loan fee is a far cry from the Reds initial valuation which was £26m [Mirror].
Liverpool may however, have to reconsider their asking price if they fail to find a buyer for the striker.
Fenerbahce have made signing an additional forward a priority this summer after landing Andre Ayew on loan from Swansea.
The club have their hands tied financially due to pressure from Financial Fair Play to curb spending.

Fenerbahce were hoping to sign their second striker before the Champions League Third Round playoff clash against Benfica next week.
