Burnley v Basaksehir: Confirmed Lineups – Adebayor Makes The Bench

Burnley take on Super Lig outfit Istanbul Basaksehir at Turf Moor in the Europa League Third Round tonight.

The Clarets held the Istanbul minnows to a scoreless draw at the Fatih Terim stadium last week.

Sean Dyche’s side will, however, need to be careful as an away goal for Basaksehir could see the Turkish side qualify with a score draw.

Former Arsenal and Manchester City star striker Emmanuel Adebayor has made the bench after failing to make the squad in the first-leg.

Adebayor is expected to feature in the second-half after scoring against Trabzonspor in the league over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Gael Clichy, who also played for Arsenal and Man City, will start at left-back.

Former Barcelona star Arda Turan will miss out tonight due to injury.

Ex-Newcastle United midfielder Emre Belozoglu starts in midfield alongside Mahmet Tekdemir.

Irfan Can Kahveci has got the nod at No 10 with Kerim Frei and Edin Visca out wide. Riad Bajic starts upfront.

Basaksehir kicked off their 2018/19 season with a win over Trabzonspor on Sunday while Burnley were held to a 0-0 draw.
