Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yokuslu has been ruled out of the 2020 European Championship qualifier against France which will be played in Konya on Saturday 8 June.
Yokuslu was called up for the squad and started in the 2-1 victory over Greece before being rested in the 2-0 win over Uzbekistan after picking up a knock.
The 25-year-old was expected to recover in time for the Euro qualifiers against France and Iceland but he will no longer feature.
The Turkish Football Federation released a statement confirming that Yokuslu has been removed from the squad due to an injury.
The TFF revealed that Yokuslu has suffered an injury to his right knee and that he is currently receiving one to one training.
Yokuslu would have been expected to start in central midfield for Turkey had he been match fit.
