Kieran Trippier, the Newcastle United full-back, has been linked with a surprising move to Turkish club Eyüpspor according to Turkish journalist, Resat Can Ozbudak as reported by the Daily Mail.
Despite being a key player for Newcastle, Trippier has found himself on the bench in the club’s opening three Premier League matches. The emergence of Tino Livramento has limited Trippier’s playing time, leading to speculation about his future.

While Trippier was previously linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Everton, it appears that Eyüpspor may be a more realistic option. The Turkish club has expressed interest in the 33-year-old defender, and negotiations are reportedly ongoing.
However, a move to Eyüpspor is not guaranteed. Newcastle may be reluctant to sell Trippier, especially given the difficulty of finding a suitable replacement before the January transfer window.
The situation remains fluid, and it remains to be seen if Trippier will make a move to Turkey or remain at Newcastle United for the remainder of the season.
Eyupspor have got off to a good start to the season and are currently 4th in the Super Lig with eight points after four games. The newly promoted side are managed by Turkish football legend Arda Turan.
