Reading manager Steve Clarke has stated that he hopes Jem Karacan will remain at the Championship side next season.
Karacan has been linked with Galatasaray in the past and the Lions are on the look-out for a new midfielder with Yekta Kurtulus rumoured to be on his way out of the club.

The Turkey U23 international’s contract with Reading expires at the end of the month meaning Karacan is free to hold talks with any club.
“We’ve made Jem an offer which we feel is a good one, but it would involve a bit of pay-as-you-play,” Clarke was quoted as saying by the BBC.
Karacan has been sidelined with long term injuries over the past two seasons. The Turkish international made just 11 appearances this season due to a lengthy knee injury.
Galatasaray are close to completing the transfer of Karacan according to NTVSpor.
