Everything changes so fast in football. Just a week ago Mesut Ozil was being lauded for his brilliant display as captain in the 3-1 victory over Leicester City.
Just a week later he is being slammed by sections of the media for his performance in the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace.
The Arsenal star shared a photograph on his Instagram account today which showed him looking pretty focused alongside a message for those who judge him.
‘Don’t just my path if you didn’t walk my journey,’ Ozil said.

Ozil did not appear pleased about being taken off for Danny Welbeck against Palace and responded by throwing his gloves on the floor.
Emery defended the playmaker of Turkish origin following the incident in his post-match press conference.
“It’s normal, not happy. Not happy because the result was not good at the end. But it’s normal,” Emery said, as per the Independent.
“The players…I like the players showing us character when we are not playing well. When I chose him, it was 2-1 to us but usually, every player wants to continue playing.”
Ozil is expected to be rested against Blackpool in the Football League Cup on Wednesday ahead of the Premier League clash against leaders Liverpool.
