Arsenal transfer news: Star forward wanted by Turkish giants – January bid being prepared
Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce have joined the race to sign Arsenal’s star striker Olivier Giroud.
The France international has found first-team opportunities hard to come by this season following the arrival of Alexandre Lacazette for a record fee.
Giroud knows he will need to put together a run of form to secure his place in the France national team squad ahead of this summers 2018 World Cup in Russia.
According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Fenerbahce are set to table a loan bid for the powerful striker in January. The Yellow Canaries also want to include an option to sign Giroud at the end of the season in the deal.

Giroud – who has entered the final 18 months of his contract – has clocked up just 359 minutes of football over 15 Premier League appearances this season.
Fenerbahce are on the lookout for a new goalscorer following inconsistent performances from both Roberto Soldado and Vincent Janssen.
Arsenal host their London rivals Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium tonight, kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).
