Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to provide an injury update ahead of Germany’s 2018 World Cup opener.
The 29-year-old confirmed that he has resumed light training after sitting out for the past four days with a knee injury.
Ozil scored during Germany’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Austria last weekend, however, Ozil was forced off in the 76th minute and was replaced by Julian Draxler.
The former Real Madrid man shared a photo of himself in training on social media and included the following caption, “I didn’t take part in final team training today, but some running exercises were possible again.”
