Aston Villa negotiations reach advanced level over full-back, Turkish minnows expected to complete transfer
Aston Villa full-back Aly Cissokho is on the verge of joining Yeni Malatayaspor according to sporting director Ali Ravci.
Ravci revealed that they have a few issues to iron out with Villa but that the deal should go ahead.
Cissokho has already agreed personal terms with the club and the transfer will go through once an agreement is reached between the clubs.
“There are a few minor issues to resolve with Aston Villa and then the transfer will go ahead,” he said following training at the Duzce Topruk Yayla grounds.

Cissokho is expected to join his new teammates once Villa and Malatyaspor strike a deal.
The newly promoted club agreed terms with Cissokho over a week ago and the transfer was expected to be completed before the start of pre-season training.
The experienced full-back has 12 months remaining on his Villa contract but the Championship outfit do not have plans for him over the 2017-18 campaign.
The 29-year-old is vastly experienced and has played at European giants such as Porto, Lyon and Valencia.
Cissokho will play in Super Lig for the first time if he completes his move to Malatyaspor.
