Besiktas call for referee Firat Aydinus to be suspended following Fenerbahce derby defeat [divider]
Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman has called on the Central Refereeing Committee (MHK) to suspend Firat Aydınus and fine the referee for his conduct in the Istanbul derby against Fenerbahçe.
“The fourth referee told Fırat Aydınus that Emre Belözoğlu swore at Slaven Bilic but he told his assistant to not get involved,” Orman was quoted as saying by Eurosport TR.
“Emenike ran off the field with his shirt off in front of the referee without his permission, he then returned to the game without permission, none of these actions were punished, they were all clear technical errors.”
“We can’t do anything to Aydınus, we just want the MHK to do their job, that is all.”

Aydınus was heavily criticised after the game for not punishing Emre Belözoğlu or Slaven Bilic for swearing at one another.
The experienced referee was also involved in what has been described as a technical error for failing to punish Emmanuel Emenike who removed his shirt, left the field without permission and reentered the pitch without the referee approving.
Beşiktaş ended up losing the derby 1-0 at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium and fell one point behind league leaders Galatasaray.
Fenerbahçe closed the gap with Beşiktaş to just one point following the victory over the Black Eagles.
