There were more than a few Arsenal fans shocked by the news, disappointed a club icon is set to leave for free and confused as to why he would join a Turkish side.
Jack Wilshere going to Fenerbahçe is bad move. He still has good qualities and can definitely play for a mid table side in the prem. If not, he can move to a less physical league like La Liga/Serie A. Moving to Turkey when you’re entering the prime of you career is baffling.

Agree with the comfort zone part, but he is much better than the Turkish league. Chances of him getting picked for England for the Euros are even slimmer now. You need to play with the best and challenge yourself more to improve. He will dominate the league, but will he improve?

Really believe wilshere is making the wrong decision going to turkey. Hope he changes his mind

Jack Wilshere dominated Xavi & Iniesta in their prime…now mans playing in Turkey lmaoooo

Should of been Jack Wilshere, huge mistake to let him go but from the current squad i would go for Granit Xhaka not been here for as a long as Ramsey but the only real leader in the squad i feel

Biggest mistake jack Wilshere is doing is joining the Turkish league if you ask me …

There are Arsenal fans pleased with him being linked with a move abroad as they will not have to watch him play for a rival next season.
The only positive is he isn’t staying in the premier league. I can’t stand seeing him playing against Arsenal.

Not everybody agreed.
Disagree entirely. Turkish fans will love him. Decent relationship with the ownership/DoF. Turkey is a 2/3 team league and it shows he’s willing for a challenge out of his comfort zone. I rate that. And I also kinda respect him for not playing for another Prem club.

bro you dont our league . Turkish league is very hard and also fenerbahçe chose new prisedent his name is Ali koç. he wants new squad very popular players. And as we fan want play champions league…
— Utku Koç (@utkukooc) June 29, 2018
What if it’s the best offer he has? Playing for Fenerbahce means he can play in European competitions, something neither West Ham nor Palace can offer so pipe down and support the lad

We can only say it’s a bad move after we’ve seen what takes place . He can go there gaff an amazing season to get his confidence back nd come back to the prem with some confidence. Give the move a chance first at least .

Not at all UCL football and chances to actually win league and cups unlike some of the bottle table teams in England.

I don’t really understand when people say he is way too young to be in Turkish leauge.
Guys don’t get me wrong but you don’t know a shit about football, and it’s past.
Years ago Turkish teams made their marks in Europe. Like 4 years ago Fenerbahçe played semi finals in Europal.— Efe ?? R.I.P (@courageoushoney) June 28, 2018
