Bournemouth have struck a deal with Portugal international Raul Meireles according to the Express.
Meireles is currently available on a free contract after Fenerbahce decided not to renew his contract at the end of the season.
The Portuguese midfielder has years of experience playing in the Premier League having starred for Chelsea and Liverpool in the past.
Meireles joined Fenerbahce from Chelsea for £7.6million in 2012 and was a first-team regular until recently.
The 33-year-old missed most of last season with injury and made just 11 appearances in the league.
The midfielder was not called up for the Portuguese national team ahead of Euro 2016 by head coach Fernando Santos’.
Meireles has 76 caps for his national team having featured in the World Cup, European Championships and has experience playing in the Champions League as well as several top European leagues.
Fenerbahce finished last season as Super Lig runners-up and lost out on winning the Turkish Cup to rivals Galatasaray.
