Altinordu will host their annual U12 Youth Football tournament the Izmir Cup between 6-8 April 2018.

Fifty-six clubs from 21 countries will send teams to the tournament.

Among the clubs that will participate are Manchester City who have decided to send a team for the first time.

The Citizens have had a growing interest in Turkish football over recent years after snapping up Enes Unal on a £2 million move from Bursaspor in 2015.

City sold Unal to Villarreal for £12 million over the summer but have a buyback option.

The Premier League leaders have been particularly interested in Altinordu’s youth development program.
