Euro giants in advanced talks with 20-goal Swansea star, deal close to completion
Galatasaray are closing in on Swansea City striker Bafetimbi Gomis.
The Lions are in pursuit of a new striker following the departure of Kolbeinn Sigþórsson earlier this year.
Meanwhile, star forward Lukas Podolski will also depart the Istanbul based club this summer for Vissel Kobe.

The Turkish outlet Fotospor have revealed that Galatasaray have been in contract negotiations with Gomis. Per the source, Galatasaray have tabled a lucrative offer which has placed them ahead of Marseille in the race for the 31-year-old.
Fotospor go onto state that Galatasaray are close to striking a deal with Gomis. However, the Lions still need to reach an agreement with Swansea City.
Gomis has another year on his contract with Swansea which expires in 2018.
The 31-year-old spent this season on a loan at Marseille. Gomis scored an impressive 20 goals in 33 appearances for Marseille this term.
Galatasaray find themselves in fourth spot in the Turkish league with 58 points.
