Euro giants keep tabs on Liverpool contract-rebel Emre Can who is seen as Khedira’s replacement
Serie A giants Juventus are preparing for life without their star Germany international midfielder Samì Khedira.
According to Calciomercato, Juve have set their sights on Emre Can as a replacement for Khedira. Per the source, Juve CEO Beppe Marotta has confirmed that the Serie A champions are keeping tabs on Can.
Can’s long-term Liverpool future is cast in doubt with just ten-months remaining on his contract with the Reds.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the reason negotiations with Liverpool have stalled is because Can wants a release clause included within his new deal. The Merseyside based club are however unwilling to include such a clause.
