Galatasaray beat Malatyaspor 1-0 at the Turk Telekom stadium in the Super Lig on Sunday.
The victory moved the Lions into third place in the league just two points behind leaders Trabzonspor who beat Sivasspor today.
Adem Buyuk scored the only goal of the game.
The Turkey international netted a 45th-minute penalty for the home side which ended up being the deciding goal.
