Huddersfield join Newcastle & Foxes in race for £10m rated Anderlecht defender Kara
Anderlecht centre-back Kara Mbodji could be headed for a January exit as reported by Turkish-Football yesterday.
Up to seven Premier League clubs have been in contact with Mbodji’s representative Ediz Balkan.
Leicester City, Newcastle United, Swansea, Crystal Palace and were among the sides confirmed to have expressed an interest.
Mbodji’s representative has also revealed that Huddersfield are among the interested parties.

“Kara has attracted a lot of interest from Premier League sides, we held talks with representatives from those clubs in London last Sunday,” Balkan revealed.
“There are six-seven clubs from the Premier League in talks but I can’t reveal the offers right now.”
Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas are also in talks over the Anderlecht centre-back.
The Yellow Canaries have made strengthening their defence a priority.
“There is also interest from Italy and Spain while the big three in Turkey have also held talks,” he added.
“The next round of talks will Belgium we will have a better picture of what the near future holds for Kara.”
Huddersfield were closely linked with Mbodji over the summer as reported by Het Belang van Limburg and covered by Sport Witness.
Talksport meanwhile claimed that Palace had a £10 million bid for the Senegal international rejected last January.
Mbodji is currently on international duty with Senegal but was suspended for the 2-0 World Cup playoff clash against South Africa on Friday.
The 1.92 tall defender captains the Senegal national team and will return in time for the second leg in Dakar on Tuesday.
The powerful centre-back has four goals in 41 games for his country.
