Tottenham star midfielder Moussa Sissoko has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce over the past week.

The Turkish outlet Sabah recently reported that the Yellow Canaries are lining up a move for the France international. Per the source, Fenerbahce want to sign Sissoko on a 12-month loan deal.

The box-to-box midfielder has been a controversial figure among Tottenham fans ever since he joined the club for an eye-watering £30 million back in August 2016.

Upon hearing reports of a potential move for Sissoko, many Tottenham fans took to social media to express their delight.

Fenerbahce’s newly appointed director of football Damien Comolli – who previously worked at Tottenham – is understood to be leading negotiations.

The Yellow Canaries are expected to make major changes to their squad this summer following the election of Ali Koc as club President.

Sissoko registered five assists and scored two goals in 47 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham last season.
