Fenerbahce appointed Damien Comolli as sporting director on Tuesday, in what is his first role since leaving Liverpool in 2012.
The next big question as far as the Yellow Canaries are concerned is who will replace Aykut Kocaman as manager.
Comolli will be given the final decision over who manages Fenerbahce next season.
Current head coach Aykut Kocaman is expected to be replaced by one of the names on the managerial shortlist.
The Yellow Canaries have been linked with Luis Enrique and Laurent Blanc.
Turkish-Football understands that Zeljko Buvan is also being targeted.
Buvan faces an uncertain future at Liverpool.
The Reds are hopeful that Buvac will return to the side of Jurgen Klopp according to journalist David Maddock.
The Bosnian coach, who was assistant manager to Jurgen Klopp took a leave of absence ahead of the Reds 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The reason why Buvac left the side of Klopp remains unclear but Maddock reports that the coach is still an employee of the club.
With the return of Pep Lijnders to Anfield, @LFC have made clear that Zeljko Buvac remains an employee of the club, and his position is unaffected by this coaching appointment. Jurgen Klopp still hoping Buvac will return following his absence for ‘personal reasons’
