Liverpool legend destroys Emre Can on social media
Liverpool beat Maribor 3-0 in the Champions League on Match Day 4 at Anfield.
Central midfielder Emre Can got his name on the scoresheet, taking his tally in the tournament to three.
Can ended up matching Didi Hamann’s goal tally of 11 in 140 fewer matches than the Reds legend.
The stat was highlighted by Liam Bekker in a tweet.
Hamann was not best impressed and struck back with the following response.

Hamann won the Champions League, a UEFA Cup, two FA Cups, a pair of League Cups, the Community Shield and two UEFA Super Cups during his time at Liverpool between 1999 and 2006.
Can has yet to win any silverware since joining Liverpool but he has only had two full seasons at the club.
