2014 World Cup winners Germany take on reigning Copa America champions Chile in the Confederations Cup Group B clash in Kazan, Russia.

Chile and Germany head into their second game tied on three points despite playing one game fewer than group opponents Cameroon and Australia.

Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can did not get to start against Australia despite Joachim Low picking a weakened side for the tournament.

The midfielder of Turkish origin did however, get the nod against Chile.

Can only has 10 caps for Germany since making his debut against Polant in 2015.

Germany are on an eleven game unbeaten run but Chile will be no pushovers and have picked a strong side including star names such as Vidal and Alexis Sanchez.

In the other Group B game played today Cameroon held Australia to a 1-1 draw.
