Liverpool team news:
Jurgen Klopp’s side navigated past Maribor without incurring any fresh injuries. The German tactician will be unable to call upon star forward Sadio Mane who is sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Interestingly, Mane has been included in Senegal’s national team squad, in what looks set to spark a club-verses-country row.
Adam Lallana is also ruled out as he continues his recovery from a thigh problem.
Star midfielder Emre Can is set to retain his place in the starting lineup. The 23-year-old has started Liverpool’s last two games and has been in impressive form.
Can could be on his way out the club next summer when his contract expires.
