Manchester City’s summer signing Ilkay Gundogan is in a chilled out mood ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.
The Manchester derby in Beijing due to concern over the pitch conditions, with Manchester UNited United saying they and City made the decision together.
Gundogan however has been left out of City’s pre-season tour of China after dislocating his knee while still at Borussia Dortmund.
The Germany international took to social media to upload the following image and caption, “A cozy bed and some smooth songs are the perfect mix for Sunday chillout mood.”

Gundogan is now one of four players born in Germany of Turkish origin in the Premier League with the others being Liverpool star Emre Can, Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil and West Ham winger Gokhan Tore.
The 25-year-old was expected to face his former boss Jurgen Klopp – who now manages Liverpool – in City’s first Premier League game of the season but has been ruled out for the opening weeks of the Premier League with an injury.
