Man City v Watford FC – Probable lineups – Guardiola missing star duo
Manchester City host Watford FC at the Etihad Stadium tonight as they look to return to winning ways. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 (GMT).
Pep Guardiola’s side were held to a surprise 0-0 draw by relegation battlers Crystal Palace over the weekend. City were in-fact fortunate not to suffer their first defeat of the season as the Eagles missed a late penalty.
Watford FC meanwhile come into tonight’s clash in poor form following four defeats from their last five League games.
Germany international Ilkay Gundogan is fit to start for City tonight. The 26-year-old has enjoyed a run of starts in Guardiola’s side following David Silva’s absence.
However, star duo Gabriel Jesus and Kevin de Bruyne will miss tonight’s game due to injuries.
John Stones could be included in Guardiola’s starting eleven after returning to first-team training last week.
