Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed that while they want to keep hold of the Turkish international star Hakan Calhanoglu, they are willing to sell him at the right price.
TalkSport have also closely linked Arsenal with Çalhanoğlu but the Gunners could face competition from the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona who are reported to be keeping tabs on the 21-year-old sensation.
“We want to keep Hakan but, for us, there is an absolute upper limit,” Leverkusen CEO Michael Schade was quoted as saying by Goal.
Çalhanoğlu has been involved in 12 goals in 14 games in European competition according to Opta. The sports statistics website states that the Turkish International has scored six goals and provided six assists in his last 12 games in year.
Çalhanoğlu started against Iceland at the Konya Torku Arena and is expected to be a key player for Turkey in the European Championships this summer in France.
The highly rated 21-year-old has already scored six goals and provided two assists in all competitions this season. The Bayer play-maker star also has a phenomenal free-kick scoring record – 22 in the Bundesliga alone.
