Everton boss Sam Allardyce has slammed his the Toffees big money signings.
Despite hardly giving the likes of Davy Klaassen and Cenk Tosun a chance to prove themselves at Everton, Allardyce believes the Toffees signings are not providing the club with value for money.
The former England manager also believes Everton are forced into paying over the odds for players.

“Yes, no doubt about that,” Allardyce told reporters when asked whether more should be expected from the club’s recent signings given their transfer fees.
“But you see Everton is in an inflated price bracket because everyone knew it had got money to spend so every player they went for ended up at a certain price for Everton.
“If it was Man United it would be even more, but if it’s less than Everton it’s less.
“We are in that bracket now so we either say we pay that price and bring the player in or we don’t. And that’s what you live with today.
“Yes I would say the players need to be dealing with it more for the money we’ve paid for them.”
Tosun has started just two games for Everton since his £26 million move from Besiktas in January. Allardyce has opted to leave the goalscorer – who lit the UEFA Champions League groups stages up – on the bench in two of Everton’s last three games.
The experienced tactician has found himself under pressure following a string of disappointing results. Everton suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Watford FC over the weekend leaving them ninth in the Premeir League.
