Muslims across the world celebrated the start of the Eid holiday today.
Eid al-Fitr is “the feast of the breaking of the fast”, making the moon rising on the final day of Ramadan.
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil shared his Eid message on Twitter.
The playmaker of Turkish origin posted a photograph of himself wearing the Gunners jersey, praying on the pitch.

Arsenal have several muslim players including Ozil, Elneny, Kolasinac, Mustafi and Granit Xhaka.
Ozil is currently on international duty with Germany but decided not to share a photograph of himself wearing the team shirt.
The 29-year-old prays before games instead of singing the national anthem.
The playmaker has come under fire from sections of the German media and fanbase after meeting Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a recent event in London.
Ilkay Gunodgan who also attended the meeting was booed in his last friendly game for Germany against Saudi Arabia last Friday.
