Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has sent out a message to his Gunners and Germany international teammate Shkodran Mustafi.

The powerful defender turned 26 on Tuesday and Ozil marked the occasion by posting a happy birthday message to Mustafi on social media.

“Happy Birthday, Shkodran Mustafi! All the best for you and your family Bro! #YaGunnersYa.”

Mustafi was heavily criticised for his role in Arsenal’s defeat on Saturday against Newcastle United. Ozil was rested over the weekend but is expected to be back in action when the Gunners take on West Ham United in the Premier League this weekend.
