The Germany international of Turkish origin was quoted by the Hurriyet newspaper as saying: “It would be wrong to comment on transfer speculation, we will see what happens at the end of the season I will hold talks with the club.
“I have not decided what decision I will make yet, we will have to wait.”
Ozil did however, state that he is happy at Arsenal and is settled into life in London.
“I feel great at Arsenal and London, I’m settled here,” he added.
The 28-year-old joined the Gunners on a record £42.5 million transfer fee (Guardian) from Real Madrid in 2013.
The Telegraph reported earlier in the week that Ozil could be headed for a Fenerbahce transfer.
The report claims that Ozil is planning on relocating in Istanbul with former Miss Turkey Amine Gulse.
The Arsenal star was recently spotted in Istanbul looking for property.
Ozil did grow up a Fenerbahce fan but the Istanbul giants could struggle to match his wages due to currently being under investigation from Financial Fair Play.
