Sign in seven days or deal is off: Euro giants issue ultimatum to Liverpool star

Serie A giants Juventus have issued an ultimatum to Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Merseyside based club after failing to pen-to-paper on a new contract.

Can could end up leaving Liverpool for free in the summer unless a new contract can be agreed.

Juve have been closely linked with a move for Emre Can since the summer transfer window.

Talks appear to have hit a stumbling block. Yesterday, Turkish-Football reported that Can was not interested in contract talks with Juve until the end of the season.

However, according to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are unhappy with the delay in talks and have given Can a week’s deadline to complete the move.

Can has remained a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven despite the on-going contract sage. The 24-year-old scored during Liverpool’s 4-1 win over West Ham and is available for selection when the Reds take on Newcastle United.
