Beşiktaş striker Demba Ba believes that West Ham made an excellent choice in appointing Slaven Bilic as manager.
Bilic signed Ba from Chelsea last season and the Senegalese international scored a career high 27 goals in all competitions.
“The Besiktas fans took to him because they appreciated his passion. He is very enthusiastic and demands 100% from his players. He has experience of the English game from his time [at West Ham and Everton]. In my opinion he is a very good choice,” Ba told Worldsoccer.

The former Croatia national team manager resigned from his position as Beşiktaş manager at the end of the season after failing to win the league title.
Bilic did not win any silverware in the two seasons he spent at the Black Eagles.

Beşiktaş finished the league in third place and Bilic resigned from his position at the end of the season before joining West Ham.
