The Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder has endorsed his club-branded knife set weeks after apologising for publicising the same product on the anniversary of the deaths of two Leeds United supporters in Istanbul.
Sneijder initially promoted the product on Saturday 15 April, the same date Leeds were marking 15 years since the deaths of supporters Christopher Loftus and Kevin Speight who were fatally stabbed before the first leg of the club’s Uefa Cup semi-final against the Lions.
The Netherlands international apologised to Leeds supporters via his twitter account.
Sneijder posted another picture today on his Instagram account of the knife set alongside the caption: “Also in @Galatasaray ‘s kitchen we only work with the best tools. Get one of your own at www.senvi.com.”
