Stoke City Transfer News: Euro giants agree personal terms with £18m star, await response from Potters
Galatasaray are awaiting a response from Stoke City regarding the transfer of Giannelli Imbula.
A source close to Galatasaray has told Turkish-Football.com that personal teams with the French midfielder have been agreed. The contract offer is worth €1.6 million for the season.
Galatasaray want to sign Imbula on a 12-month loan deal with an option to buy included.
However Galatasaray are still awaiting a response from Stoke City. Imbula’s future in the Premier League has been cast in doubt following a disappointing season. The 24-year-old joined Stoke City for a club record £18.3m in February 2016 (BBC).

Galatasaray are also lining up Osmanlispor’s Badou N’Diaye as an alternative to Stoke City’s Imbula.
StokeCity boss Mark Huges recently admitted that Imbula could depart the club this summer.
“Sometimes things just don’t pan out as you hope,” Hughes was quoted as saying by the BBC.
“If there is interest in him then we would consider that. We haven’t had any interest, in fairness, but we would look at things if the right offer came in.”
Imbula made 23 Premier League starts for Stoke City since his move from Porto.
