Tottenham keen on Champions League star as potential Harry Kane replacement, Everton also join the race

Tottenham are considering a move for Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun according to reports in Turkey.

Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik report that Spurs have drawn up a shortlist of potential replacements for Harry Kane should he leave.

Per the source, Real Madrid are knocking on the door for Kane.

Spurs have been scouting Tosun and are reportedly keen on the forward regardless if Kane stays or leaves.

The report also claims that Everton have joined the race for the Turkish international.

The Toffees are reported to have held talks with his representatives in Germany last week.

Tosun has another two-years remaining on his contract and Besiktas value him as being worth €20 million.

The 26-year-old’s father was quoted by Turkish-Football as saying: “It is all down to the club, if Besiktas want to make the transfer we will leave, otherwise we stay.

“What I will say is that if Cenk leaves his priority is England.”
