Tottenham target’s Galatasaray future in doubt following manager bust-up

Tottenham have received a boost in their hunt for the Portugal u21 international Bruma.

According to the Turkish outlet AMK, Bruma has already fallen out with Galatasaray’s newly appointed manager Igor Tudor.

Tudor was appointed as manager of the Lions last week following the dismissal of Jan Olde Riekerink.

However, Tudor’s honeymoon period has not lasted long following a 1-1 draw away to Rizespor. The former Croatia international drew criticism for his decision to leave Bruma out of the match-day squad but it later transpired that the reason behind his call was a training ground bust up.

Turkish-Football recently revealed that Tottenham were interested in signing Bruma over the January transfer window and that they are monitoring the progress of the 22-year-old.

Galatasaray sporting director Levent Nazifoğlu has also confirmed that Bruma wants a move to the Premier League.

“Bruma aims to play for Manchester United but if he wants that he needs to change certain things,” Nazifoğlu was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.com.

Despite being dropped by Tudor over the weekend, Bruma has been in impressive form for Galatasaray this season. The former Sporting man has eight assists and seven goals to his name so far after 26 games.

Bruma was a key member of the team under former manager Jan Olde Riekerink but it remains to be seen whether he will keep his place in the side under Tudor.
