Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil issued a public apology on social media for confusing a mans best friend.

A video emerged on social media showing Ozil taking a corner for Arsenal on TV. The watching dog went scurrying after the ball, only to see it suddenly disappear from view.

The look of disappointment on the poor dog’s face was too much for Mesut Ozil to bare. The star playmaker took to social media to post, “Sorry for confusing you, mate”
