Sam Allardyce decided to give Cenk Tosun a place in the starting line-up heading into the Burnley clash.
Tosun had spent the last four games on the bench, playing second fiddle to Oumar Niasse but he repaid Big Sam bigtime!
The Turkey international opened the scoring with a lovely header to give the Toffees a 1-0 lead heading into the half-time break.

Tosun showed great anticipation in the lead up to the goal as he readjusted himself to Theo Walcott’s cross which took a deflection off an Everton player and finished with a powerful header giving the opposition keeper no chance.

The goal was Tosun’s first for Everton since completing his £27 million move from Besiktas in January.
