Watch: Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil could get in Man City XI, says Boateng

Former Middlesbrough and Aston Villa midfielder George Boateng believe four Arsenal players could make it into Pep Guardiola’s Man City starting eleven.

Boateng has made the claim despite the Citizen’s back-to-back wins over Arsenal over the past week. The ex-Netherlands international has stated that Danny Welbeck, Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan would make the City team.

“I would pick [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang. I would. Mesut Ozil is good enough when he is at his pomp. He’s a good player,” Boateng told SkySports.

“You’ve got Henrikh Mkhitaryan who they just signed. I think he is a good player who would do very well in the top four.

“Then you probably have, if he is fit, you probably have [Danny] Welbeck. He is a very good player. But fitness has always been an issue.”
