West Ham are considering making a late move for Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge according to the Sun.
Per the source, Hammers boss David Moyes could turn to the Reds outcast to deal with an ongoing injury crisis.
The East London based outfit are without Marko Arnautovic, Andy Carroll and Diafro Sakho – all have fitness problems.
Moyes would however, need assurances over Sturridge’s fitness for the deal to go ahead.
Liverpool meanwhile are not prepared to let the England international leave on the cheap.
The Reds would allow Sturridge to leave on loan for a £5 million fee if an agreement to make the transfer permanent for £25 million in the summer is agreed upon.

West Ham would hijack Inter Milan and Sevilla’s move for Sturridge if they were to end up signing the striker.
Inter and Sevilla also want the 29-year-old on loan until the end of the season.
A source close to Besiktas revealed that Daniel Sturridge is among the names on the shortlist as a potential replacement for Cenk Tosun who joined Everton.
The Black Eagles held talks with Sturridge’s representatives but an offer has not been made.
The reigning Super Lig champions plan to reinvest the transfer fee paid by Everton for Tosun in a replacement striker.
Sturridge would however, be unable to play for Besiktas in the Champions League as he would be cup-tied.
The Black Eagles will take on Bayern Munich in the Last 16 and are currently involved in the title race.
