West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has confirmed that he wants Besiktas midfielder Atiba Hutchinson at the club next season.
“Yes I want Gokhan Tore and Atiba Hutchinson, they are both targets we also have others but they are major targets. Will it happen? nobody can say yet but we want him,” Bilic said speaking live on Turkish Super Lig broadcaster Lig Tv after the Croatia v Turkey game.
Hutchinson established himself as a key member of the Besiktas side under the stewardship of Bilic during his two-year stint in charge of the club.
The Canadian international also played a major role in the Black Eagles winning the league title last season.
Bilic has a close relationship with the experienced midfielder who has another year remaining on his current contract. Besiktas have yet to enter contact extension talks with the star midfielder.
The Croatian manager also has close ties to Tore who was another player to thrive during his time as manager of the Istanbul giants.
Hutchinson is currently on holiday and has yet to make a decision on his future. The Hammers are however, locked in talks with Besiktas over the transfer of Tore.
