28-year-old Arsenal star could be first player to leave this summer after entering talks with Euro giants
Arsenal star David Ospina has entered talks with Fenerbahce according to the Mirror.
Per the source, Ospina has grown frustrated with his lack of playing chances this season and wants to leave.
The Colombian keeper does have another two-years remaining on his contract and head coach Arsene Wenger did manage to persuade him to stay last season.
It does however, seem unlikely that Wenger will be able to block the 28-year-old’s exit this summer.
Fenerbahce have been interested in Ospina for well over a season and reports in Turkey suggest that a four-year deal could be on the cards if an agreement is reached with Arsenal.
Back in April, Turkish newspaper Cumhurriyet reported that Ospina has agreed to a four-year contract and that Arsenal are prepared to accept a £5 million transfer fee.
The Mirror claim that Fenerbahce are in talks with the North London outfit over a £5 million move.
The Yellow Canaries are planning a squad overhaul at the end of the season after a disappointing campaign.
Like Arsenal, Fenerbahce will have Europa League football next season.
Wenger faces a tough test to keep his start players at the team without the prospect of Champions League football next season.
The Gunners could still finish the season with a trophy if they beat Premier League leaders Chelsea in the FA Cup final.
