Valencia coach Pako Ayestaran has admitted that the in-demand midfielder Sofiane Feghouli’s future at the club hangs in the balance.

The Algeria international’s current deal with Valencia expires in July and the 26-year-old has attracted attention from major clubs across Europe.

“I do not know if he [Sofiane Feghouli] will ever wear the Valencia shirt again,” Valencia coach Pako Ayestaran was quoted as saying by the BBC.

“It depends on the day to day and what the team needs.”

Feghouli, who was voted the best African player in La Liga last season, joined Valencia back in 2010 from Grenoble Foot 38.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United are in the race to sign the flamboyant winger according to the Metro newspaper.

The Turkish newspaper Fanatik states that Fenerbahce are also interested in signing Feghouli in the summer.

Feghouli’s contract with Valencia expires at the end of the season meaning he is able to discuss personal terms with clubs and leave on a free in July.
