Arsenal star Mesut Özil has not had an easy ride in England, he has been labelled lazy, overrated and worse but it does not seem to bother the record Gunners signing.
“People have criticised me for my lack of goals but I have nothing to prove to them. I do not have a big ego,” Özil told German newspaper Express.

Mesut Ozil reveals he has a sixth sense
Özil has come under fire from sections of the media since signing for Arsenal.
There were concerns that he was struggling with the physical nature of the Premier League but Özil spent his recovery from a knee injury working on his strength and fitness.
Özil covered an average of 10.48 km before his injury and 10.84km since fully recovering and returning to the team according to the Telegraph.
The World Cup winner has scored three times and created four goals since returning to the starting team in January.
The 26-year-old was left out of the starting lineup against Newcastle United at St James Park.
