AC Milan are edging closer to signing Stuttgart defender Ozan Kabak according to Tuttospor [via Calciomercato].
Per the source, the Italian giants are leading the race for the Turkey international star.
Kabak reportedly wants to leave the German side following their relegation from the Bundesliga despite only joining in January on an €11m move from Galatasaray.
The Turkish football star has a €15m release clause which was activated following Stuttgart dropping into the second-tier.
AC Milan expect the 19-year-old defender to complete his move at some time over the next week.
Should the Italian side fail to sign Kabak they will turn their attention to Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren.

Kabak broke into the Galatasaray first team from the academy last September following an injury crisis in defence.
Despite being aged just 18-years-old Kabak soon established himself as a key player in Fatih Terim’s side and impressed in the Champions League.
Stuttgart signed Kabak just six-months after he broke into the Galatasaray first team and he was named Bundesliga ‘Rookie of the Season’ by the end of the campaign.
